Book Release- The Saltwater Wilderness

Description
You are cordially invited to a slide show/lecture/book signing for the newly released book, The Saltwater Wilderness (Oxford University Press, 2003). This work blends nature writing about the sea with 25 half-tone photographs. It mixes surfing, diving, natural history, and marine conservation with interviews and profiles from a wide variety of ocean-oriented individuals.

The showing will be at Warwick's Books, 7812 Girard in downtown La Jolla (admission free). There will be images from New Guinea, Palau, Fiji, Alaska, Honduras, California, and Tonga.

If you are interested in the ocean, like underwater photography, enjoy nature writing, are an avid scuba diver or surfer, or just plain fancy the sea, please join us.
